I am a staunch supporter of the 2nd amendment. I do understand that many average Americans are uninformed due to poor academics and parents that haven’t taken the time to learn what inalienable rights they are afforded by God in our Constitutional Republic. We are not a pure democracy, or as sane people say, “mob rule”. So I am not shocked when our previous president, Obama spoke in Brazil about guns. So let me just say it, he either is stupid or a liar. ( probably both ).
His statements, “ Anybody can buy any weapon any time without much, if any regulation, they can buy it over the internet, they can buy machine guns”
Wow, he’s a liar. Every citizen that purchases a weapon legally, goes thru a background check, and some places a waiting period. There are regulations concerning age, mental health, and criminal backgrounds.
As for over the internet, wow, if a legal citizen went on line, they must purchase thru a licensed dealer, the seller won’t, can’t, send the weapon to the person who pays for it, it is legally sent to a licensed firearms dealer with an FFL, ( fed. firearms lic. ) Before I can take possession I have to fill out federal forms, present valid identification, go through a background check ( mental, criminal ) only if I pass the background check will a licensed FFL dealer let me take possession. Also I pay for this check.

If as a legal citizen, and only if I have a FFL can I purchase an automatic weapon. Very costly and difficult, about .04% of our population even possess an FFL. But most of them don’t own a machine gun.
A fully automatic rifle sells for about $20,000.00 to $30,000.00 .
Not liking guns is his or anyone’s right, taking my freedom to own and carry mine is not his right, actually even our government isn’t suppose to “infringe” on my inalienable right to keep and bear arms. Thank The Lord for President Trump.
